ELVIS PRESLEY – LOVE ME TENDER / ANY WAY YOU WANT ME (47-6643) NEAR MINT RECORD with NM- LIGHT PINK & BLACK PICTURE SLEEVE. RECORD LABEL MENTIONS THE FILM, “LOVE ME TENDER”.
RECORD: NM with stunning original gloss! The “Horizontal Silver Line” labels are also NM. Rare this nice! As mentioned above, the “Love Me Tender” side does mention of the film of the same title. This hit single was released in October of 1956. The matrix numbers end with 9S/11S, respectively.
PICTURE SLEEVE: NM- with some evidence of erased lines beside some of the record titles on the back side. A number, (“#68”) is written in black ball-point pen in the dark area to the upper right corner and just below “A ‘New Orthophonic’ High Fidelity Recording”. This is barely noticeable and quite minor. Wrinkling on this sleeve is very minimal and there are no edge splits, tears, tape or staple holes anywhere on this sleeve! This Black & Light Pink Picture Sleeve is the most common of all four color variations.
