Original U.S. pressing in very good shape with beautiful cover. This rare copy has the original version of "Old Shep" with different lyrics. (Matrix number on side B is 15S). We have played this item to verify that it has the rare lyrics. This original pressing has "long play" on the bottom of the deep-groove label & the selection number printed on the upper right corner of the cover. The cover photo still radiates with a beautiful glow.

CONDITION: Cover has been well cared for with no major blemishes. No marks, stains, writing, tears, seam splits or cut-out marks. **NO RING WEAR** Unblemished spine print is fully readable. Deep, rich, unfaded color throughout with sharp print. Hardly any corner banging. One-inch hairline scratch on front cover near Elvis' guitar, plus three or four tiny hairline creases that are only visible when holding the cover at just the correct angle. Back cover has two very light half-scuffs in the white field & a thin, inch-long white paint streak running thru two words of the song listing. These are all very minor blemishes. Deep-groove black & silver RCA Victor label & spindle hole are in very good shape with no marks, tears or stains.

DISC: Record is in pretty decent shape. No deep scratches, no skips, no sign of warping. There is a fair amount of light scratches & scuffs which yield an average amount of surface noise. I believe the committed collector will find this noise, which mostly remains at a constant level, to fall within an acceptable range. (Matrix # G2 WP7207-12S/8-15S0. I grade the cover as E- ("Excellent-Minus") & the record as V+ ("Very Good-Plus").

E- = Excellent -, Record shows light scratches and scuffs that MAY be audible.

V+ = Very Good +, Record shows moderate scratches and scuffs or wear that WILL be audible.

V = Very Good, Record shows moderate/heavy scratches and scuffs that WILL be audible and MAY skip.

V- =Very Good -, Record shows considerable scratches and wear. Good for a fill-in until a better copy turns up.

P = Poor, What can I say! Record is in poor condition, plays very rough. We will only offer P condition items if they are extremely rare or unusual.
