ELVIS PRESLEY 1956 RCA LPM-1254 Black Label / German Press LP RARE
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- From my own personal collection - RARE original 1956 GERMAN pressing of ELVIS PRESLEY SELF TITLED. Released on the BLACK SILVER RCA label, catalogue no. LPM-1254. MATRIX :
SIDE 1 : LP-G2PP-1282-X, SIDE 2 : LP-G2PP-1283-X , "Manufactured in Germany" in matrix on both sides
Vinyl Condition:- VG+ CONDITION AND NEAR EX GRADE SOUND QUALITY. CLEAN SHINY VINYL WITH ONE OR TWO SMALL HAIRLINES MARKS AND SLEEVE BRUSHING'S. NICE CLEAR SOUND QUALITY WITH NO DISTORTION. SOME VERY MILD BACKGROUND REPEAT BACKGROUND CLICKS IN THE QUIET PARTS OF 'I LOVE YOU BECAUSE' ON SIDE ONE AND THE ODD RANDOM LIGHT POP HERE AND THERE IN ODD PLACES ON THE REST OF THE ALBUM, NOTHING SERIOUS. VERY NICE OVERALL CONDITION FOR THIS RARE ELVIS LP. THIS RECORD HAS BEEN MACHINE CLEANED BEFORE AUCTION AND FULLY TEST PLAYED ON REGA RP3 DECK, REGA ELICIT-R AMP, REGA RS5 SPEAKERS
Sleeve Condition:- VG- (minus) THE OPENING EDGE IS CREASED AND FRAYED HAS SMALL TEARS GOING. THERES IS WEAR ON THE EDGES AND SPINE. LIGHT RINGWEAR ON THE FRONT AND BACK. THE BOTTOM SEAM ON THE OPENING EDGE HAS A 1" SPLIT FROM THE CORNER. CONDITION SUCH AS THIS IS COMMON FOR THIS VERY DELICATE SLEEVE THAT IS NOT MUCH MORE THAN THICK PAPER. THIN INNER SLEEVE IS PLAIN WHITE PAPER
Label Condition:- EX. NICE CLEAN LABELS WITH A FEW LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS

Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
