ELVIS PRESLEY – IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD’S FAIR (LSP-2697) RARE SECOND PRESSING with “RCA VICTOR” in WHITE LETTERING and THE COVER IN ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with clean, glossy surfaces! Just a small number of light scuffs are seen under a bright light which should have very little no effect on the audible performance. The labels are without any writing or stickers, though it appears that a sticker was once removed from the Side 1 label at some time (please see all photos). This is a RARE Second Pressing of this Original Soundtrack Recording. This album did not sell very well at the time of its initial release in April of 1963 and was deleted from “Elvis’ Great LP Catalog” by 1969. First pressings of this album with all-silver print on the labels are much more common than these “White Top” reissues! This album includes the hit single, “One Broken Heart for Sale / They Remind Me Too Much of You”.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with a great deal of the original shrink wrap remaining on the cover. Approximately 15% of the shrink has torn away from the back side and there is a break in the shrink toward the lower edge on the front. Some wear at the lower right corner is noticed. The ”Kmart” price sticker (“E”) remains fully affixed on the front; very original and nostalgic! The original “Elvis’ Great LP Catalog” (40B) is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
