Description

Here is an Elvis Presley 45rpm single titled Hound Dog with Don't Be Cruel on the b side from 1956. It is a UK 1st press with purple and gold HMV labels and Cat No- 45-POP-249 and has the 1st press matrix -1N / -1N The 67 year old disc is really visually lovely NM both sides with no marks or scratches whatsoever.Its a real superb condition clean disc. Both of the labels are clean and EX. The HMV sleeve is VG+. I have play tested this disc as seen in photos on my Thorens turntable and it plays magnificently well both sides beautifully throughout. The sound is very warm and very clear and the bass is absolutely superb especially on Don't Be Cruel and its play graded Mint throughout. You will search a very long time to find a copy anywhere near as lovely as this one looks and plays. Its been extremely well looked after and stored away and is a final upgrade copy for certain.
