ELVIS PRESLEY “HEARTBREAK HOTEL / I WAS THE ONE” – 78 RPM – 1956 

Available this week is Elvis Presley’s “HEARTBREAK HOTEL / I WAS THE ONE” 78 RPM. This well preserved 10” original shellac copy of Elvis’s first single for RCA Victor (# 20-6420) was issued in 1956. 

It’s in good condition, I do not see any visible scratches.  Labels are clean with no writing and no wear except for some faint spindle trails.  A clean copy. I have not played it or cleaned it.  The sleeve is torn on one side.  It’s been played but probably not since the1950s.  From a smoke/pet free environment and has been in storage since it was issued.
