Description

For your consideration is this ELVIS PRESLEY "GUITAR MAN" MONO/STEREO PROMO RED VINYL 45-RCA JH-12158. It is in VG++ condition. *This  45 was play tested and both sides play beautifully with very little surface noise. It comes in a label issue sleeve in VG+ condition. This rare red vinyl promo issue is hard. It is 100% guaranteed! Below are the grading descriptions:

SS-Still Sealed-LP is in original shrink wrap. These are usually purchased from reputable sources and were purchased as New and unplayed, not a reseal. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee vinyl condition being they are sealed and I have opened sealed LPs myself and found flaws. If there is any issue, please contact me.

Mint (M) Perfect Condition, which basically means that it is as good as new, flawless. The vinyl has to look new and sound unplayed. The cover has to look untouched. Some say that the only mint records are brand new unopened ones but even unopeded LPs may have some flaws. I don't ever use this grade.

Near Mint (NM) Vinyl is near perfect. You might see a light scuff on the record, but it should play without any noise or skips. The record sleeve should also be near perfect with only tiny, minor signs of wear. There should be no "ring wear" on the cover at all. No discoloration, creasing, etc...

Excellent (EX/NM- or VG++) Vinyl should still play with no skips of any kind. There will be some very minor surface scuffs that shouldn't affect sound quality. The record sleeve may have some minor ring wear but it should be mostly in good shape. There possibly may be some minor creases in the corners, but no splits in the seams or pieces of seam missing.

Very Good+
(VG+)     This is the grading category where the quality of the sound will be affected:there will be some surface noise and the vinyl will show wear. This is including surface scuffs and light scratches. The record is still very listenable without any deep scratches that cause skips. As for the cover, the corners may be slightly bent, but with no break or tears.  There may be wear to the seams but no tears or holes.

Very Good
(VG)     Vinyl doesn't necessarily look good, but still plays well enough. Surface noise will probably be present, including pops and clicks. At higher volume levels, the music will overpower any pops and clicks. There will be seam splitting, but not complete separation of the sleeve panels from each other. There will be noticeable ring wear on the cover, but the cover should, for the most part, will be in good condition.

Good (VG-)     Vinyl is well played and looks it. However, the record should still play through without skipping. It will have surface noise, pops and clicks. Loss of the dynamic range will occur due to worn grooves. This grade depends a lot on the owner and the type of records they collect. A rock record may still sound ok at a higher volume, but quieter styles of music will be almost unlistenable. The record cover may have many problems including seam splits, tears, and writing on it, very unappealing.

Fair/Poor (F/P)     Using the word fair for this quality of record is too generous and not recommended, since it may be misleading. Records described as fair (F) or Poor (P) in the Goldmine grading system are ones that are basically unlistenable and should not be purchased. Surface noise, skips and pops make hearing what's on the record an awful experience, if not almost completely impossible. The cover is falling apart, torn, and has writing all over it, basically crap(lol). The only reason to keep it would be if the record is extremely rare.

*MOST VINYL RECORDINGS ARE VISUALLY GRADED ONLY, BUT WHEN POSSIBLE THEY WILL BE PLAY-TESTED. THE METHOD USED WILL BE CLEARLY STATED IN LISTING. HOWEVER, I DO TRY TO LISTEN TO AT LEAST THE FIRST 30-45 SECONDS OR MORE OF EVERYTHING I'M OFFERING.IF BY CHANCE I DIDN'T, IT WILL ALWAYS BE QUITE CLEARLY STATED. ALL GRADING IS CONSERVATIVE AND BASED ON GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS. EACH VINYL RECORDING WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVES AND TAKEN OUT OF ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVES. ALL 45'S & LP'S ARE SHIPPED WITH ORIGINAL SLEEVES/JACKETS/LINERS/ETC, IF AVAILABLE. *VINYL* has not been machine cleaned and could probably use a professional cleaning.   While I grade very conservatively, mistakes might happen.
