ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS PRESLEY (LPM-1254) RARE FIRST PRESSING with “P.D.” CREDIT!

RECORD: VG+ and retaining much original gloss despite many extremely light hairline scuffs. This Rockaway pressing plays great from start to finish with RCA Victor’s “New Orthophonic High Fidelity” remaining resilient! The labels remain clean and attractive but show some light to moderate spindle marks. This is the RARE label variety which shows “Just Because” credited to “P.D.” (Public Domain) on Side 1, Track 6. This is Elvis’ debut album; his very first release on Long Play in March of 1956. The matrix numbers end with 5S/3S.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) RARE Light Pink “ELVIS” example with no seam splits, tape, writing, bends, creases or staple holes! However, there is some minor foxing on the white back side as well as some edge wear and minor wear at the corner tips. Minimal surface scuffing (ring wear) is noticed under scrutiny. This cover is simply stunning and in amazing condition for being 69 years old! The original glassine (“onion skin”) inner sleeve is included.
