ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS (LPM-1382) RARE “ALTERNATE TAKE” on “OLD SHEP” with 17S MATRIX!

RECORD: VG with pleasing, glossy surfaces for the grade. The labels are clean and attractive. This is the RARE, “Alternate Take” on “Old Shep” variety with matrix numbers ending in 17S (Side 1)/17S (Side 2). This information can be found in your copy of “Presleyana VIII” (Jerry Osborne) on page 91.

COVER: VG+ with a 5-inch upper seam split (please see all photos) along with some chipping along the spine. This is the rarest of ALL covers for LPM-1382, with the song titles shifted far to the left on the back side. Yes, it is rarer than any of the “Ad Back” covers! The original “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included, though there are edge tears present. The record will come housed in an additional plain white sleeve for shipping purposes.
