Description
Here it is, the album that literally changed the world. You are bidding on a first edition 1956 vinyl pressing of Elvis Presley's debut album.
Not only is this album a classic, it is literally a piece of history. The beginning of music as we know it.
Album grade- I graded this album a VG++. There are a few marks on Side 1 that do not affect play. Side 2 has typical paper scuffing, again, that do not affect play. This album does not skip. This album was cleaned with my VPI record vacuum, sucking decades worth of dust out of the grooves for a super clean sound! If I didn't already have this album, I would keep this copy. It sounds fantastic!
This album is almost 60 years old, and it's very, very difficult to find it in this great condition.
Cover grade- The cover is graded as VG++. There is not a single split on the cover, and no creases. The cover maintains its gloss. The upper right of the back of the cover has the number 117 written (pictured) and there is some yellowed clear tape at the top (pictured).
If you want to own Elvis' first album, this is the copy for you.
There is no reserve on this item. Feel free to email me with any and all questions. Good luck in bidding on a this incredible piece of American history.
