PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


WILDLY RARE Indianapolis LPM-2426 deep groove first? pressing in glorious mono from 1961? on RCA's black label with silver print, LONG 33 1/3 PLAY above the lower label rim text, Nipper the Dog at the top of the labels, LARGE CIRCUMFERENCE pressing ring and original RCA inner sleeve!!!  Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever.  THAT'S how you know it's rare.  LP side 2 is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs and side 1 is VG+/VG++ with a small scuff on the title track.  Cover has a hint of foxing on the right hand side on the rear only and is still in the original shrink wrap.  Even has the original Woolworths (R.I.P.) price code sticker in the top left hand corner and circular $4.79/$3.97 sale price stickers in the top right hand corner on the cellophane on the front cover.  THAT'S provenance.


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
