ELVIS PRESLEY – A DATE WITH ELVIS (LSP-2011) RARE RIGID VINYL, ORANGE LABEL COPY!
RECORD: NM- with original glossy surfaces! There are just a few concentric needle tracks noticed on Side 1, Track 1 (“Blue Moon of Kentucky”) that have no effect on the audible performance. Played like new on test! The Orange Labels on this RARE non-flexible Hollywood pressing are simply beautiful and fully original. This album was originally released in September of 1959, exclusively in Monaural and all songs included were previously released on 45 RPM only. The album was not “electronically reprocessed” in Stereo until 1965 and was released on the “White Top” RCA Victor label, which is far more common than these Rigid Vinyl, Orange Label copies.
COVER: NM- with no visible ring wear, seam splits, tape, writing or staple holes! A very minor upper right corner “bump” is observed. A simply stunning, fully original cover! The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40D) inner sleeve is included.
