For sale are six (6) vinyl copies of Elvis Presley religious and Christmas LPs!

 

The Christmas LPs in this lot feature all the holiday tracks anyone could ever hope for - there's two copies of two separate Elvis' Christmas Album albums, each with different tracklists, a stereo and mono of each! And the two religious LPs have a wide range of church music and hymns, spiritual in a way only Elvis' melodic crooning, toned down for these songs, could perfectly inflect!!


The rarest of the LPs in this lot is Elvis' Christmas Album, an original mono pressing from 1957 with the 12-page booklet still intact and in beautiful condition, especially for being almost 60 years old.

This pressing has "NEW ORTHOPHONIC" HIGH FIDELITY below Side 1 to the right of the spindle hole. The matrix # in the dead wax is H2PP-6526-5S.

 




Elvis' Christmas Album (RCA Victor, LOC-1035)
Vinyl is EX with very very faint surface noise, a few minor pops here and there. The vinyl is clean and glossy with only light, superficial scratches that are noticeable in bright light.
Jackets is VG with splitting along the gatefold spine (pieces of tape have been placed over the binding despite it not appearing to need it), some storage wear on top and bottom edges which show early signs of splitting. The booklet is in fantastic condition with only a very tiny dog ear fold to the bottom corner of the first page.


His Hand In Mine (RCA Victor, LPM 2328)
Vinyl is EX with very very faint surface noise which is hardly noticeable during quiet parts, light inner sleeve wear.
Jacket is EX with very light storage wear and includes original inner sleeve!


How Great Thou Art (RCA Victor, LSP-3758)
Vinyl is VG+ with some surface noise noticeable mostly during quiet spots, a fair amount of play wear and a few scratches, none of which can be felt to the touch.
Jacket is VG+ and would be EX if not for writing on the back cover and a crease on upper right corner.


Elvis' Christmas Album (RCA / Camden, CAL-2428 MONO)
Vinyl is EX with hardly any surface noise, a few spots with faint pops from very light, superficial wear, has minor edge warp that doesn't affect play.
Jacket is EX with very light storage wear.


Elvis' Christmas Album (RCA Victor, LSP-1951(e))
Vinyl is VG+ with crackle throughout which causes some of the album to play closer to VG from noticeable play wear, scratches and light scuffs as well as a concave storage bow that doesn't affect play.
Jacket is EX aside from a light crease to the upper right corner and edge wear, no splits but nearing them. Includes original inner sleeve.


Elvis' Christmas Album (Camden / Pickwick, CAS-2428)
Vinyl is VG+ with very faint surface noise, a bit more on side 2 than 1, from light scratches, mostly around the edges which appear to be mostly inner sleeve marks, as well as a concave storage bow that doesn't affect play.
Jacket is VG+ with light storage marks, early ring wear.
