Condition : Discs - Poor/Damaged - See descriptions below, and photos.
** Listen to vintage 1950's rock and roll - the way it was designed to be heard - on original 78rpm records. Although these particular records are very much less than mint condition, if handled with care, they should give good service on a jukebox or Dansette, or alternatively be used for display purposes or collection-fillers.
** Condition of these records is described as Poor, as they all have damage of some sort. I have tried to photograph the faults as best I can, so please look carefully at all the photos listed. Specific conditions are as follows:
All Shook Up - Small chip to outer edge of A-side only. Affects run-in groove only. Does not affect recorded music. Otherwise the record is in excellent condition on both sides.
Blue Moon - Small pressing imperfection on outer edge of B-side only. Affects run-in groove only. Some clicks during intro. Otherwise the record is in excellent condition on both sides, apart from a slight edge warp. Some pencil marks on labels.
My Baby Left Me - Hairline crack runs from outer edge to approx. halfway across the playing area on both sides. This causes some clicks during early part of music on both sides. Otherwise excellent condition.
All three 78rpm's have original HMV sleeves in very good condition. I played both sides to check sound quality, which is very good, apart from the deficiencies listed above. Only minor general surface noise, and some clicks as described above. Tested on a Pye Black Box. Original company sleeves in very good condition.

GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M):
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
