ELVIS COSTELLO Armed Forces ORG 1979 UK Ltd Ed LP in EX++/EX++ Condition
Welcome to my listings.To all overseas bidders: Please read before bidding. I will not falsify any information when sending custom declarations. I will indicate the true value of any item that has been sold. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay the correct custom duty on any winning item.

All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.
ELVIS COSTELLO & THE ATTRACTIONS Armed Forces Scarce and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original 1979 UK Limited Edition 12-track LP, with the bonus 3-track vinyl 7" live EP featuring Accidents Will Happen, Alison & Watching The Detectives in its own picture sleeve, (there are only 3 postcards as 1 is missing), the illustrated lyric inner & fold out custom stickered picture sleeve. PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING
Equipment used to test this LP was my Townshend Rock II turntable positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform, with a Linn Ittok modified arm and Audio Technica VM95ML Shibata modified cartridge feeding through a Trilogy 906 phono stage positioned on a Townshend Seismic Sink. Amplification is a Lavardin IS amp positioned on a Townshend Seismic Vibration Isolation Platform. Speakers are bi-wired Nordost Blue Heaven Rev II Speaker Cable Impluse H6's positioned on Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars.
The LP was played through its entirety and there was just very light minimal surface noise heard through the lead in tracks to both sides plus some of the very quieter moments. There were no annoying skips, jumps of mis-tracking. While listening no track exhibited any sticking. There were no loud pops or any other annoying defects heard. There was no noise distortion, while listening the music flowed with crystal clear clarity. If marking out of 10 then this is easily a 9 out of 10 playback.
I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.
THE COVER: The fold out cover shows light minimal wear to all edges. All corners have just very light minimal wear with no major age related rounding. All the folds to the back are intack with no splits or tears. The covers surface very light storage scuffing and light creasing. I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT++ condition.
THE BACK COVER: The back cover reflects the front so I have graded the back cover again in EXCELLENT++ condition.
THE INNER SLEEVE: The illustrated inner has been graded in EXCELLENT++ condition with no visible signs of damage.
THE 7 INCH: The 7” Single and cover have been graded in NEAR MINT condition with no visible signs of damage.
THE POSTCARDS: All illustrated inner has been graded in EXCELLENT++ condition with no visible signs of damage.
THE VINYL: Both sides of this LP still retains all of their original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are no deep scratches to any side of this LP. There are just very light minimal hairline marks. I have graded this LP in EXCELLENT++ condition.

THE LABELS: The labels are in EXCELLENT++ condition and showing just very light spindle marks around the central spindle hole.
