Description
Here it is, the MOST WANTED and rarest of all ELVIS COSTELLO records ever made. It’s the legendary and extremely rare “Blitzkrieg” box set from 1980. The box and all three 7” records are still in excellent condition. There is PROMOTION NOT FOR SALE and MADE IN GERMANY printed on the back of the box. You can also read RECORDED LIVE IN CONCERT – AT THE ROMAN AMPHITHEATER BRUXELLES on the back. This 3x 7” release was only pressed on blue vinyl and released on “Thunderbolt” records. The back of the cardboard box says, that the cover concept was done by DAN GEROUS (brilliant name). The beautiful box (sleeve) was done with love. Also the fantastic label artwork is beautiful. All in all you can listen to 16 tracks. They were recorded at the Theatre de L'Empire, Paris, 1 June 1979 (#), the Roman Amphitheatre, Cannes, 10 December 1979 (@) and the Grand Odeon, Montpellier, 11 December 1979 (+). You can hear: “I Stand Accused” #/ “Hand In Hand” #/ “Opportunity” #/ “Green Shirt” #/ “I Don’t Want To Go To Chelsea” #/ “B Movie” #/ “So Young” #/ “Oliver’s Army” #/ “I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down” @ / “Girls Talk” @/ “Five Gears” @ / “Clown Time Is Over” @/ “Watching The Detectives” @/ “Possesion” @/ “Love For Tender” @ / “Gangster” +. I have never ever seen this super-rarity for sale. Once again, the box and all three 7” records are still in excellent condition. Airmail postage/packaging for 1-4 singles outside Germany is the same price (5,50 Euro for Europe and 9 Euro for the Rest Of The World). Payment: Europeans via paypal or by bank transfer. Overseas via paypal only. German customers should send the money to my bank account. Please add 5% to the total if you send the payment via paypal, thanks.
