ELTON JOHN "Tumbleweed Connection" LP UNI Records 73096
First 1970 US pressing, with the classic UNI multi-colored swirl labels.
Arguably Elton John's finest and most artistic album.
Features hit songs "Country Comfort" and "Love Song".
The vintage of this pressing is verified by the matrix numbers etched in the dead wax:
Side 1 : US 1192 T4
Side 2 : US 1193 1
Spectacular NM wax plays "like new", flawed only by very light superficial paper scuffs which are visible under bright light but have no impact on sound quality.
Super high gloss remains.
Labels are clean, sharp and bright. Look "like new".
Original textured gatefold jacket is VG+, with modest rub wear and some small dings at jacket edges.
Jacket front and back sepia-style photos and text are clear and sharp.
Inside gatefold area includes the original attached 12-page booklet (with artwork, photos, lyrics and credits), in EX condition.
Nice gloss remains.
Solid seams and spine, with modest rub wear. No splits.
