Description

Exceptionally rare 3XLP acetate for Elton John’s ‘The Red Piano Concert’ on Redline Records from 2008.


This acetate was used to check the mastering which I believe was done at Abbey Road studios in London.


There are no other copies known to exist and it’s therefore a unique item for any Elton John fans/collectors.


The records are all in NM condition. They appear unplayed and have no spindle marks nor even the lightest hairline scratches. The third disc has a couple of very light (finger?) prints but that’s all. All three records are contained in poly-lined inner sleeves in plain black covers which come in a resealable outer plastic cover. One side of one of the generic covers has some light tears as the pictures show. This is where it made contact with the resealable strip on the plastic sleeve that contains all the discs.
