This record is in very good+ condition. It has just a few(3-4) faint spindle marks visible on each label and there are no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape with no major issues to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything serious and are clean overall. There is a few light wispy lines, light marks and some very minor faint 'sleeve scuffs' just about visible when angled. These light lines and signs of use show clearly under bright light, but there is not loads and again nothing sinister. So overall a used vintage record which is in very good shape overall and has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes but has some signs of use and its age. It also shines a lovely purple/red when held up to direct light as it is pressed on translucent vinyl.
I play tested the record and it plays very well overall and has no major issues such as skips, stick or clicks. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement noticeable in the record arm. The audio produced is free of major issues as I say, with it just having some light surface noise in parts. This can be heard faintly in the run in, between tracks and in some of the much softer parts of some tracks. For example the quiet intro to track 2 on side 1 and some of the quiet parts of track 3 on side 1 and track 2 on side 2 have some audible. This surface noise is not dramatic or really intrusive and I still enjoyed the whole play test with any of the audio of any volume being clear, crisp and free of any interference. So overall a very enjoyable listen which has no major problems and but some mild surface noise in some of the softer parts.
The textured gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has age related rubbing and wear to the edges and corners but there are no splits or weak areas anywhere and overall the sleeve is strong all round. There are no tears or pen marks anywhere on the sleeve and no major issue with creasing or ring marks. There is however two small scuffs evident. The first is on the front in the top right corner, whilst the second is a similar size and found on the rear near the bottom right corner. Inside the gatefold has its original booklet firmly attached and there is no damage around the staples as often found. There are no tears or pen marks to it either, but there is some grubbiness/staining or discolouring to the opening page. So overall the sleeve is strong and tidy all round but has the two scuffs and mild edge age related wear as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes its original plain white inner which is in very good- condition. This has no splits although the bottom edge is weakening. It also has considerable discolouring/yellowing and also one small 1cm tear to the top edge. I will provide a clean plain white replacement to ensure no further wear occurs to the original.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
