1966 Original FIRST Issue LP
**************************************************************
This is the intended debut album from Elton that had the leaning to more psychedelic sounds, from the mid to late 60s.
It was recorded at DJM in late 1967 and early 1968.
The influence from The Beatles is very obviously prevalent, and that perhaps prevented the album from initial release.
As we know, once Elton broke onto the charts seriously with the beautiful 'Your Song', the singles came regularly since - and almost every one was a hit. An amazing feat!
This album is his first recorded lp, and features his own songs as composed with Bernie Taupin.
In my opinion it's an essential album - and in mint condition it won't need upgrading.
Condition;
The VINYL is MINT, still never has been unsealed from first purchase.
The LABLES must also be MINT.
The LAMINATED(?) SINGLE CARD COVER is MINT.
Never been unwrapped. There's the classic 'flipback' 3 tabs also, which makes the set particularly authentic.
See photos.
