HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB!! UK DJM (DJE 29001) ORIGINAL 1976 UK FIRST PRESSING ON YELLOW VINYL!! OF ELTON JOHN'S CLASSIC, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" DOUBLE LP SET

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, EARLIEST FIRST *YELLOW* PRESSING AND ALL THE RUN OFF GROOVES CARRY THE "YELLOW-LIMITED-EDITION" ETCHING (not present on later yellow presses) AND THE SLEEVE STILL RETAINS THE ORIGINAL "LIMITED EDITION 2 LP SET ON YELLOW VINYL" STICKER!! - VERY RARE!!!

THE VINYLS ALSO CARRY THE RAREST AND EARLIEST A3/B3/C3/D3 MATRICES AND "STRAWBERRY" ETCHING AND ARE PRESSED ON QUALITY MID-WEIGHT VINYL (surprisingly lighter than later presses!!) WHICH DELIVERS THE BEST POSSIBLE AUDIO FOR COLOURED VINYL PRESSING WHICH ARE NOTORIOUSLY PRONE TO LOTS OF SURFACE NOISE AND CRACKLE - - BUT NOT THIS ONE - WHICH PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT!!!

THE LPs ARE HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL ISSUE, MATTE TRI-GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Printed in England by Robor Limited" WITH ALL THE LYRICS REPRODUCED ON THE INSIDE OF THE COVER AND THE AFOREMENTIONED ORIGINAL STICKER STILL IN PLACE ON THE FRONT OF THE SLEEVE!!!

LABELS: The labels are VERY NICE with a little wear but NO unwanted writing!! There are a few very light 'foxing' spots on the Record One label (see pics) and some spindle traces, most evident when angled under a bright light. This album has been played but also very, very well cared for!!
VINYL Visual: Two BEAUTIFUL pieces of vinyl!!! They are virtually UNMARKED and SHINE LIKE NEW!!
VINYL Audio: OUTSTANDING!! - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY strong and VIBRANT!! Hardly ANY of the problems usually associated with coloured vinyl pressings!! There are NO scratches and very, very little evident surface noise or clicks/pops (hardly ANY really!!). The sound quality here is simply SUPERB with NO groove-wear and NO distortion!!!! SOUNDS FANTASTIC!!! This must be very, very strictly graded as EXCELLENT to (+) for audio. (Plays pretty much FLAWLESSLY throughout!!!!). NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards!!!
SLEEVE: The matte TRI- gatefold cover is in BEAUTIFUL condition!! There is virtually NO storage wear to speak of and the sleeve is CLEAN and FRESH!!! There is some light creasing to the opening edge but nothing major!! VERY NICE SLEEVE!!
