This is one of the most coveted audiophile pressings of one of rock's greatest double albums. Released by Direct Disk Labs as part of their prestigious Super Disk series, this 2-LP set was cut at half-speed directly from the original analog master tapes, a process that allows the cutting lathe to capture far more high-frequency detail and low-level information than a standard real-time cut.

What you're getting here is the DBX-encoded version, featuring a red DBX sticker on the front cover and DBX logos on the labels. The DBX noise reduction system dramatically expands the dynamic range of the vinyl medium, resulting in a pressing with extraordinary dynamic headroom and an ultra-low noise floor — when played through the proper hardware.

To prevent seam splits during transit, the vinyl will be removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve.
