ELTON JOHN Captain Fantastic & the Brown dirt cowboy DJM RECORDS LP Picture Disc DJV 23000!
Original UK Picture Disc LP, comes complete with the original backing card.
Released in 1975 on the DJM RECORDS label.
Catalogue number: DJV 23000.
Backing card/Record: VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT CONDITION
Backing card has a few light superficial creases (not heavy or deep into the board) and a couple of tiny pinholes evident on one corner, has no rips/tears and no deep lined sleeve creases, overall condition is VERY GOOD+.
Playing surfaces and matrix areas are in EXCELLENT condition, retains the original full original glossy sheen on both sides, has one barely visible hairline scuff/mark on the A-side at 10 o’clock across the last two tracks (*which produces a few low level background passing clicks on the last track/*checked), B-side looks MINT. Overall record’s appearance is EXCELLENT. From my own Picture Disc collection, never played before (*however checked as being listed to see how it plays, just in case) and was only collected for the Alan Aldridge artwork.
