You are bidding on the single, only known copy of this classic pop song by Elton John!

I found this one-sided 8" Acetate pressing in the well preserved collection of a friend of the Beach Boys and associate of the 70s LA music scene. This is without a doubt the only copy in known existence, I doubt Elton himself has one of these. This record is more rare then the standard WLP white label 12" vinyl test pressings since this was an acetate mono test pressing made for internal purposes only.

I played the record briefly at 45rpm to check the play condition and sound quality. The mono master sound plays well with only light noise. The overdubbed handclapping comes in loud and clear in the opening and closing of this mono mix of the song. The visual condition is a conservative VG-, slight marks and scuffs but no deep scratches. The original sleeve is a VG- with some yellowing and writing. This very rare original record is in great shape, considering it has been in one collection since 1974.

This is the only known master acetate of this famous song, bid accordingly! Feel free to message me through eBay if you have any questions.
