One of the holy grails for the collectors of european jazz: original 10inch Lp from 1962 "Trio Elsie Bianchi" at Seiler`s Atlantis Club in Basel (AL-2846). Beside their classic Lp "The Sweetest Sound" on German Saba, this record was never released and came as a club promotional item only with an estimated 50 to 100 copies. All tracks solely available on this highly sought after vinyl record - a nice mono recording with a very clear sound, not what you might expect from a record of this age! I will try to describe its condition as careful as possible: This record has no serious scuffs or scratches - there are hairlines on the vinyl that keep it from being excellent throughout. Therefore the vinyl ranges between vg+ and excellent, maybe also vg in a few short parts where you can hear occasional surface noise or a few pops. Some occasional pops may also occur because of the pressing quality - it is hard to decide! Black & White Labels are near mint - I can see three spindle marks on Label B and that`s all there is! Condition of the cover is vg++ due to one reason: There is a slight yellowing on the upper part of the frontcover because of aging (see scan), otherwise the cover is in excellent condition throughout. Registered shipping of this item only! There is no reserve and a very low starting bid because I know it will sell for the price it deserves!!! So bid with confidence...Arigato!
