Description
Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera: same 1968, UK/CBS-Direction S8-63300. Disc has some light hairlines, plays M- or very close, it gets an EX grade. Disc plays stereo, but has mono labels. Cover (a mono cover) has staple holes in the upper right and lower right corners, it appears staples were used to seal the LP back in the day. Several little creases and scrapes in the lower right corner, back side shows some soiling, this cover gets a Good grade. Rare UK original pressing of this killer heavy freakbeat LP which happens to be one of the best from this period, tracks like "Mother Writes" and "Flames" are tremendous riffing monsters!
