Description
Elliott Smith's full length album, "Figure 8", on vinyl double lp, released by Bong Load Custom Records (BL48). 2000.
Figure 8 is the American singer songwriter's fifth full length album. It was released by Dreamworks, although the vinyl pressing was handled by the small Los Angeles vinyl label, Bong Load Custom Records. Bong Load has gone out of business, and this original pressing is out of print. Compared to Smith's earlier work, Figure 8 is more instrumentally ornate, and the lyrics are more impressionistic. Smith described the songs on the album as "more...fragmented and dreamlike".
Disk one of the vinyl is rated at a really nice VG++ to even EX, with hardly any wear apparent. The record has no scuffs, no deep scratches, no warps, and no writing on the label.
Disk two of the vinyl is also rated at a sharp VG+, with very minimal wear visible. Under strong light, a scant few very light marks can be seen. The record has no scuffs, no deep scratches, no warps, and no writing on the label.
The cover is rated at a solid VG++. There is very minimal wear to the corners and edges. There is a small crease barely visible at the top right, less than 3 cm. There isn't really any ringwear apparent. Still has much of the original gloss. There are no seam splits or tears, no writing and no stickers.
Record grading is based on Goldmine Grading Standards.
