NOTES: A wonderful set from my Dad’s record shop, the original 1959 mono version of these storied musical performances / box set includes five LPs, one 7” 33rpm record, a hardback book and all five of the much sought after Bernard Buffet prints (typically missing from these 62 year old box sets) / all records play well and sound great except where noted: all Vinyl in strong EXCELLENT (EX) condition, with the exception of Vol 1, side A track 1&2 and Vol 2, side B Track 2&3, which show slight audible scuffing, although they play well; these early mono Verve recordings had the slightest surface noise but excellent fidelity and these records still do / Cover in GOOD MINUS (G-) condition, shows wear, warping to the front cover (all records are perfectly flat however) and slight shredding to the flip top hinge (see supersized photos #11 & #12) / 7” 33rpm disc plays perfectly; hardback book titled “Words Upon Music” is like new, flat cover boards with sharp corners and tight binding; all mat textured innersleeves are near perfect / for best view, please supersize photo at very top of this webpage and examine all 12 pictures of actual item carefully for condition
