Description
ELECTRONIC SOUND MAGAZINE + SPIRITUALIZED LIMITED EDITION WHITE VINYL DUAL SPEED 33RPM & 45RPM 7" (new/sealed)
NEW/MINT CONDITION
JASON PIERCE aka J Spaceman, the main man of cosmic kings Spiritualized.
Magazine + dual speed and white vinyl single – featuring tracks from the band's extremely rare 'Pure Phase Tones For DJs' EP .
The Spaceman Reissue Program sees the re-release of VIP editions of Spiritualized's first four albums, including 'Pure Phase' and 'Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space'. There is a great Kraftwerk tale to read about.
Also includes Anni Hogan, John Grant, Moby, Hattie Cooke and Peace Chord plus an extract from 'Babble On An' Ting', a new book about Alex Paterson, plus articles on ESG, Penelope Trappes, Andrew Hung etc.
'Purephase Tones' is a white vinyl seven-inch . It features two tracks from Spiritualized's ultra-rare 1996 EP 'Pure Phase Tones For DJs'. Essentially a series of pulsing, hypnotic drones, they were intended to be used as tools in DJ sets and were regularly played at Spiritualized’s gigs during the late 1990s.
Like the original release, the seven-inch is a dual speed disc, which means you can play it at both 33rpm and 45rpm.
A FUTURE COLLECTABLE this record is strictly limited and is only available to readers of Electronic Sound
