  • Electric Light Orchestra released their seventh studio album "Out Of The Blue" in October 1977 on Jet Records. The double-disc album was a huge success and reached the Top 5 all over the world thanks to a series of hit singles including "Turn To Stone," "Mr. Blue Sky," "Sweet Talkin' Woman," "Wild West Hero," and "It's Over." All the songs were written by Jeff Lynne and recorded at Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany.

  • This copy of (JTLA-823-L2) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The gatefold cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in Near-Mint condition as are the two card-stock Inner Lyrics Sleeves and 12" x 23" Color Poster. Please see the pictures but note that the photo of the inner gatefold is from another copy and the cut-out is missing. Both discs test played cleanly and are easily VG+ which is as high a I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Stan Ricker and this copy was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is stamped JTLA-823-1 and etched SIDE A SR/2 3.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 44 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
