Visual scuffs seen in light, fingertip test - smooth to the touch on the whole disc, plays smooth with typical hiss
Controversial song (that currently still exists today) and that prevented her from recording with other labels until Commodore signed her.
There is a movie about her that came out in February named: The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
I originally bought from an elderly retired gentleman about 20 years ago who had claimed to have met her.
Housed in a thick paper sleeve.
To be packed in over 1 1/2" of corrugated cardboard stiffeners and a shipping mailer. I have mailed many 78's over the years.

Record grading guided by Goldmine (graded in light):
MINT: No scuffs, scratches, blotches, stains, labels, writing, tears or splits. Simply perfect.
NEAR MINT (NM): A Record that may have one or two tiny, minor flaws such as light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of the sleeves that do not affect play.
EXCELLENT (EX or VG+): A Record has been handled and played either very little or very carefully. The vinyl may have lost some but not all of it's original luster or have a slight scratch that doesn't affect play.
VERY GOOD (VG): A Record that displays visible signs of handling and playing such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. A VG record may look like it will have some audible surface noise when it is played, although any noise should not overwhelm the music or ruin the listening experience.
GOOD (G): The Record is well played, with any number of defects such as complete loss of surface sheen, obvious surface noise, etc.

I am getting questions regarding the autograph on the label. I did not mention it because I left it open for interpretation. I could not honestly confirm or deny either way.-I bought an entire 78 RPM collection of several thousand around 20 years ago. This is one of them from that collection that I bought from the gentleman at the time so I did not see this until later on. Any other questions, by all means ask. I will reply promptly.
