Description

This is a fine copy of a numbered, limited edition 1997 comp on the Tenth Planet label of the late '60s recordings by the Electric Banana, a psuedonym of the Pretty Things (for those not familiar with the group).  The tracks on this record come from three rare LPs (one 10" and two 12") released by the UK library music publisher De Wolfe.  The music was recorded for use in films, and some of the tracks on the third and best of the bunch (sorry), Even More Electric Banana, were performed by the band themselves in a club scene in the 1969 film, What’s Good for the Goose (which was available on YouTube not long ago).  This copy is #941/1000.  The jacket is close to pristine with some light corner creasing (M-).  The disc has some small hairline scrapes and light scuffing, and plays with light surface noise that's audible mostly between tracks (EX).

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
