Artist:  The EL COROLS

Title:  “Chick, Chick” / “You Gotta Be An Angel”   

Label:   ROUSER (Washington, DC).  Label is red with black text.  Catalog number is RI 2954. 

Note:  A young Joe Quarterman got his start with the El Corols, one of the finest bands ever to come out of D.C. back in the day.   

Year:   1968

Condition:   VG to VG- with most of the original gloss remaining.  The record has nice gloss and very little wear, however there are a few light to moderate scratches that produce some audible repetitive ticks in the first 0:30, after which the remainder of the record plays fine.  No skips, jumps, or sticks. 

 

I have provided a sound clip of the entire side so you can judge for yourself.   Fidelity is strong, and I believe it would sound fine on the dance floor. 

 

Labels have noticeable rubbing and there is a small rectangular stain on one side from where a gummed sticker was apparently removed.  No writing.

Guaranteed to be original and authentic.  I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
