This rare old private pressing from NYC gets my vote for the deepest loner spoken word LP ever, so real and depressing it is a trip. He is an alcoholic poet and the LP has him thumbing through his writings about his hopeless experiences with women and life and reading them in a voice so full of futility it is intense. At one point he gets so down about his writings that he says 'pencil don't do this to me'. He speaks about his depressing experiences with various women but doesn't say their names, just "Miss 1957 or so...". The bleakness of his voice creates quite a lost lonely loser mood the more you hear it. Not sure of the year but the address on the back cover is pre- Zip Code. The front and back are the same picture of him sitting in a bar stirring his drink. JC Productions # JC 2002. VG+/Ex light sleeve wear, super clean disc. I generally find spoken word LPs uninteresting but this is a whole different level of reality, a deep look inside a real depressed alcoholic loner mind, as someone once said to me, this is not a record, it is life itself.
