Welcome to our next ebay auction. We are very excited to offer for your consideration this extremely rare 1962 extended play recording by Brazilian legand Eduard "Edu" Lobo. This records comes from the personal collection of the late Sidney Frey, who was the President and owner of Audio Fidelity records. Mr. Frey was instrumental in bringing stereo to the world and was also instrumental in bringing Bossa Nova to the United States. We recently acquired his estate and we are continually surprised by some of the rarities that we are turning up. When we found this record, we were very surprised to also find a letter inside the jacket, of introduction of Mr. Lobo to Mr. Frey from Vinicius De Morais, who wrote the words for "the Girl from Ipanema". It is typewritten and is included with the record. You can see a copt in the photos. This is a 45 rpm size record, but it palys at 33 1/3 rpm.The record is in near mint condition and is extremely hard to find. Please look closely at the photos and email any questions you may have.
