Description
Up for your consideration one Edison Diamond Disc Record.
PLEASE NOTE:
These type records were marketed by Edison between 1912 and 1929 and should only be played on the matching Diamond Disc Phonograph for which they were intended. Diamond Disc Records are incompatible with ordinary disc record players and should be played with a precision made diamond stylus. These records were recorded at 80 RPM (not 78 RPM).
I’m told by Edison collectors that these discs should never be exposed to or cleaned with water so I am selling them as I found them with just a bit of accumulated dust.
This disc was purchased from the estate of an Edison Record enthusiast whose collection included nearly every record from this series. It was found stored in a protective, heavy duty Edison paper sleeve.
