EDEN'S CHILDREN self titled debut LP on ABC records stereo ABCS-624 monster Boston psych classic this rarely comes up for auction and there are NO COPIES to be found on ebay or GEMM, and I haven't ever seen it listed! Copies of their second LP, which is reportedly much more produced and less desirable are the only thing to be found for this group. Google the band name and you might find a blog with some audio, as well as a nice page about Boston psych bands. CONDITION: JACKET: VG+ gatefold. Bottom seam is split. punch hole bottom right some ringwear. Visually nice front and back, the seam split is the only real issue. I've kept the record and the jacket separated in a plastic sleeve since I've owned it. VINYL: strong VG+ many hairlines, but no scratches of any signifigance. I played the LP and it plays great, loud, and with little background noise. Vinyl still has luster. Heavy vinyl pressing with "Van Gelder" stamped in dead wax! For those who don't know, Rudy Van Gelder is associated with nearly every major jazz record of the 50s-80s and has "RVG" stamped on nearly all classic Blue Note and Prestige records. I don't know the specifics, but this band and RVG were roughly in the same area, so somehow he was involved with this record. Don't sleep on this as you may not see it again for a while!
