EDDY GRANT - The Equals, ?– Mystic Syster –
I think of this as Eddy Grant’s first solo LP really although it is credited to the Equals. I think Derv Gordon from the Equals in on Vocals but there are no credits to this effect. This is the Original 12” Vinyl Release. It has never been available on CD.

CONDITION: VINYL – VG+ (AS R/C GUIDE), PLAYS WELL SLEEVE – Good condition generally but on the front a previous owner has written their name right across the young lady’s chest – see photo. No marks or stickers but some dirty marks on the back. Minor damage to sleeve opening. INSERT – None. LABEL: No visible spindle marks, no stickers. I am not a dealer - just a newly retired old hippy downsizing and trying to find decent homes for my Vinyl collection before I croak and some dealer gets to hoover it all up. All my LPs have been stored carefully over the years in individual poly-bags and with new inner poly inner sleeves where required. There has been a lot of interest in this LP and a question about the quality of the Vinyl. I have categorised this LP as VG+ BUT it is not EX or EX+.
I WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE THIS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO EXPLAIN WHY. IT IS BASED ON A VERY RECENT TEST PLAY.
SIDE 1 HAS A FEW VERY LIGHT SURFACE MARKS AND A SMALL IMPERFECTION IN THE VINYL FROM PRESSING – NOT AUDIBLE. THERE IS HOWEVER A SMALL MARK ON TRACK 2 WHICH IS AUDIBLE AS A SINGLE “CLICK”.
SIDE 2 ALSO HAS SOME VERY LIGHT SURFACE MARKS.
THE RECORD TRACKS AND PLAYS PERFECTLY. BOTH SIDES ARE CLEAN AND SHINY. HOWEVER THERE IS SOME SURFACE NOISE BUT I ONLY NOTICE THIS IN THE GAPS.
I HAVE RIPPED PERFECTLY SERVICEABLE MP3s FROM THIS ALBUM.
