I LOVE YOU/ I SURRENDER 1969 - ACTION RECORDS (ACT 4547) MATRIX NUMBERS ACT+4547+A/ACT + 4547+B THIS IS A TRULY RARE SOUL CLASSIC FROM 1969 WHICH RATES AS EXCELLENT. ALTHOUGH "I LOVE YOU" IS THE OFFICIAL 'A' SIDE, THIS IS BETTER KNOWN FOR THE 'B' SIDE "I SURRENDER" WHICH WAS A MUCH BIGGER DANCE HIT IN THE NORTHERN SOUL CLUBS. IT HAS BEEN IN MY PERSONAL COLLECTION SINCE NEW. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF VERY MINOR PAPER SCUFFS ON THE 'A' SIDE BUT THEY DO NOT AFFECT THE SOUND. THE 'B' SIDE IS VIRTUALLY AS NEW. THE RECORD PLAYS PERFECTLY WITH A RICH DEEP SOUND. THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND UNMARKED. THERE ARE VIRTUALLY NO SPINDLE MARKS. IT IS NOT IN THE ORIGINAL SLEEVE - I WILL SUPPLY A NEW WHITE CARD SLEEVE. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have been a record collector since the 1960's and have traded them for the last twenty years. Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
