16 Inch, 33 1/3 RPM, Black Lacquer Acetate Transcripiton disc
Side one of the disc contains the songs "Call Me Reckless" Oran Hot Lips Page, "I've Got A Fever In My Bones" Burl Ives, "Baby Won't You Say You Love Me" Herb Jeffries, "There Goes My Heart" Herb Jeffries
Side two contains the song "Be Tender" Una Mae Carlisle, then the last 10 minutes of this side contain part of recording session of Eddy Duchin. It contains many fluffs and attempts at recording an unidentified song, the only lyrics that are sung are "I Never Knew I Loved You Till I Lost You". Duchin continuously gets upset with members of his band and his arranger. Duchin makes statements like "we have 15 minutes to do two arrangements, I wish I had time to give you a lesson". Duchin says "I don't have the ___ patience, I'm too old & too nervous". It's pretty entertaining
I don't know the origin of these recordings, if they are test pressings, alternate takes or whatever. There are no dates on the disc, I've taken photos of the sleeve and disc which can be used for identification
Disc is in Excellent- Condition with Excellent- Sound, Beautiful Disc!
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can include a CD transfer of the entire disc for the buyer
