Description

This is an original 1957 45 rpm release by Eddie Cochran with the recordings of "Twenty Flight Rock" b/w "Cradle Baby" on Liberty F-55112. If you're an Eddie Cochran collector, then you know how desirable this record is! I obtained this in a record swap in the mid-60's with a DJ aquaintence who was trading off older radio station 45's in his collection for more current music. It was obvious by looking at the record that it didn't get many plays, as the condition is outstanding. I took it home and put it into storage, not even playing the record until now. Here's the description: "VINYL: Looks like new with original high gloss, no surface scratches, no scuffs. PLAY: Both sides play problem-free with excellent sound and nice clear vocals. There is absolutely no background noise on either side; a very clean playing record. LABELS: They look like new! No marks or writing, no surface wear. This record comes in it's original stock Liberty factory sleeve, which also shows no wear at all. GRADE: Only one thing keeps this record from being NM, and that's because it has a very slight warp. But believe me, there is absolutely no affect on play. Vocals are crisp and sharp, no distortion. Vinyl apperance, labels and factory sleeve all get a solid NM rating. Sound and vocals are also NM, keeping in mind the slight warp. Even with that, it would be tough to find this 45 in better overall condition than this. No reserve on this one, so some lucky collector will own this rare copy!
