Description

THE ABSOLUTE HOLY GRAIL OF EDDIE COCHRAN. A FABULOUS CONDITION (PLAYGRADING AT EX/EX+) LOVINGLY CARED FOR RARE AS HENS TEETH GEM. A FABULOUS UPGRADE/COLLECTORS COPY FROM THE VERY BEST OF MY 56 YEARS OF COLLECTING.

THIS IS THE MUCH HARDER TO FIND 1959 TRI-CENTRE UK FIRST EDITION OF THIS FOUR TRACK EP COMPLETE WITH LAMINATED PICTURE SLEEVE.

Please do not confuse with the less valuable round centre later edition, this is the record you have been looking for. You are unlikely to find better without it being unplayed! These first presses only come up very rarely (Ive seen one other (tri) in the last year) and are becoming increasingly rarer.

THIS IS A ONE TIME LISTING. I WILL NOT RELIST IF IT DOESN'T SELL AND IT WILL GO BACK IN MY COLLECTION:

PLEASE DON'T INSULT ME WITH DERISORY OFFERS. The last copy through went for more than my buy it now price and this grades better!

The record has been stored upright in a protective cover and stored seperately in a replacement white sleeve (also supplied) from its front laminated EP cover since I have owned it. It comes from a pet and smoke free home and has only been played by myself a few times on quality equipment.

THE VINYL:

The vinyl retains a lovely glossy sheen especially for a record which is 57 YEARS OLD. There are some minor hairlines/paper scuffs where the record has been taken in and out of its cardboard sleeve over the years but again none added by me. There is NOTHING which affects the sound quality. I would playgrade the 'A' side as EX and the 'B' side as EX+

TRACKLISTING:

SIDE 'A': 'C'MON EVERYBODY': 'SITTIN' IN THE BALCONY'

SIDE 'B': 'SUMMERTIME BLUES': '20 FLIGHT ROCK'

LONDON RECORDS RE-U 1214 1959 UK RELEASE 1ST PRESSING TRI-CENTRE.

THE LABELS:

The labels are TRI-CENTRE glossy Purple with NO STICKERS OR WRITING and grade at EX++

THE PICTURE SLEEVE:

The picture Sleeve is fully intact and grades at EX-. There is a minor crease at the front left hand corner and the bottom right hand corner has about a cm of plastic laminate lift but no tears either to the front cover or to the laminate. There is NO WRITING or STICKERS. The rear has a small indication of age related rear ring wear (before I owned it for the last 40 years). The rear also has some yellowing on the sealed laminate edges and some age related discolouration.  Please see pictures.

Please note, light reflections on pictures are not marks on vinyl.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Postage is FREE and will be sent First Class signed for and a tracking number will be provided. If however you want it sent insured please request this before paying as this will be at buyers cost. The record will be posted in a cardboard mailer.

Paypal only.

Any problems please contact me first before leaving feedback as I am amenable and will sort out any issues.  I am aware that my ears are not your ears so grading can be a point of contention however I am confident in my gradings as per Rare Record Collector system (see below). As such I will take a return on this if not happy:

Record Collector Grading System (with additional grades that I have added)

M- = Near Mint: In brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover and contents nearly perfect.

Ex = Excellent: Shows some minor signs of being played but there is none or very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing.
