Description
A super collection of delightfully nostalgic early 8" shellac records on the Eclipse record label, all dating to the late 1920s and early 1930s and playing at 78 rpm. This collection of eighteen records encompasses various genres including military, colliery band, choral, music hall, orchestral etc. Many are complete with nice period sleeves. The complete collection is priced low since I have so many records of these records needing a new home (i.e. several thousand!). Artists Hardy & Hudson, Pat O'Dell, Band of the Arsenal Football Club, Band of HM Irish Guards, the Famous Crosswell Colliery Band, Van Ryn's Novelty Orchestra, Carol Porter, Roy Leslie etc.
Shipping price includes a strong double wall box, multiple layers of bubblewrap and polystyrene loose fill - the best way of packaging these potentially delicate shellac records. Overseas buyers please be aware that most international sales (including those to mainland Europe) now attract import charges. Please be assured that enormous attention will be paid to the safe packaging of this item.
