Description

The Beatles and Tony Sheridan

Released I think in 1964 or possibly earlier Polydor 52275

 German 1st pressing? Side A – Cry For A Shadow (Harrison – Lennon)

Side B – Why (Sheridan)

Polydor red label, push-out centre has MADE IN GERMANY around the label and in the run-off on both sides.

Matrix numbers: 52275A & 52275B

Stampers Side A: A4 – V and at right angle H

Side B: A4 H – V and at right angle 1 

Condition: I would say that this record is in very good+ condition – there are a few superficial marks to the vinyl on both sides but there are no deep scratches to affect the sound quality. I have played the record through (with a new stylus I might add!) and it doesn’t skip or jump at any point. The label does have original owners name written in pen on side A.

The picture sleeve (printed in Germany) is in relatively good order other than some slight creasing and two small tears to the top side edges.
