THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the ORIGINAL 1976  ASYLUM LABEL pressing  with the original SLEEVE..- Stored from new this LP has seen JUST TWO careful plays, and remains in super condition everywhere.

TAPED ONTO CASSETTE TO PRESERVE THE VINYL IN SPECTACULAR CONDITION!!!

THIS VINYL REALLY IS AS CLEAN AS WE HAVE EVER SEEN.

This pressing has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is  no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

There are a couple of feint light spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are a few whisp lines , and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN SUPERB CONDITION.

On playing through we heard some light lead in static in the dead grooves.... - The quiet passages sound really superb.. OVERALL THE WHOLE LP SOUNDS WONDERFUL. So many 'Asylum pressings' have crackle defects in the grooves, even though the vinyl 'looks' MINT..finding a super clean one is quite hard.. THIS IS ONE OF THEM.

As the vinyl has clearly sat for so long we feel that a professional hoover cleaner could remedy this back to an even higher grade we feel.

A very rare record to see at all these days.. A STUNNER..

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct FLAT MATT TEXTURED AND EMBOSSED  UK issued sleeve  - TOPLOADER DESIGN

Note: Only the first issue was textured AND embossed..later presses were flat texture , then after this they switched to standard matt and 'side loader' sleeve.

THESE FIRST EDITION SLEEVES ARE RARE..ESPECIALLY IN THIS 'UNRUBBED' CONDITION.

ALSO THE RARE CARD INNER SLEEVE IS HERE!

 This is in SUPERB condition, THE FIRST PRINT OF THIS CLASSIC LP SLEEVE.

ASIDES FROM SOME VERY LIGHT TIP RUB AND A FEW TINY SPOTS OF FEATHER ON THE BOTTOM SEAM EDGE THIS SLEEVE IS INCREDIBLE ALMOST LIKE NEW!

The spine is super sharp with just a couple of tiny tip dinks

The open edge remains sharp condition -no rubbing or ring wear..WHICH FOR THIS SLEEVE IS SO RARE TO SEE.

The skull image on the front is perfect..not a spot of white rub on the embossing.
