Hotel California (mono / stereo)   


After a break of a year and a half, the Eagles released their new Lp 'Hotel California.' It was December of 1976, and radio soon gravitated to the song "New Kid In Town" which went to #1 in the US. When it came time to try for another hit, they did something darring, they went to the title track, an lengthy opus over 6 minutes long.

Having a 'hit' single that long had seldom happened. But this single was prepared by Asylum and shipped out to radio in April of 1977. It too, topped the US charts. This original 45 has the same song, the same Lp version on both sides. But on the flip here you get the unique, promo only, non-CD MONO mix of the song.

CONDITION : VG+ This is a promo that saw some use on air in Phoenix, and has some visible scuffs, but still plays great. Check the sound sample.
