Hello. This auction is for the incredibly rare DrCarlsonAlbion (Dylan Carlson) vinyl that was awarded to backers of his Kickstarter project from a couple/few years back. The details can be read by google-searching "Dylan Carlson Kickstarter". eBay won't allow me to post a direct link to the Kickstarter details page.
The vinyl is a 12" full-length of solo Dylan Carlson. It's solo-electic guitar… super crunchy and distorted and recorded very well. It's a little more energetic in sound than his "Gold" soundtrack but with MUCH better sound quality which really translates the nuances in his guitar tone which is half the fun of his music. It's like Earth's "Living in The Gleam" live stuff but more mellowed out and without drums. That's the best I can describe it. It's a real treat!
The vinyl is black. It's housed in a hand-numbered sleeve out of just 150 copies. The insert has release info on one side and the names of all the Kickstarter backers on the reverse. The cover is a beautiful silkscreen and folk-lore inspired. I've gotten rid of the majority of my vinyl collection and while I normally wouldn't think much of selling another record, my name is on this one as a financial supporter. Considering this, the quality of the music, and the rarity… I'm starting the auction at what I'd be comfortable parting with it at. This is so unique and rare that there isn't yet even recognized on Discogs and I've seen no others for sale.
