Description
Been some time I had this one. LP is entitled 'Popular Music for young people'. All was recorded in a monastery in the southern part of the Netherlands and really sounds as garage as garage can be. This album has 4 killer unknown Dutch garage freakbeat psychedelic sounds and for everyone of 'm I enclosed a soundfile to let you check it out. This was only a 300 copy press. Just cause its unknown now and then you can find this. Been years though I had it! 'Group Cruise to Cavalry' is on it with two killer tunes 'Just walk' and the amazing 'Fear'. The Frootman Field have the fantastic freakbeat tune, realy typical Nederbiet, 'Feel on my back'(Viel op mijn bek) which sounds in Dutch like 'I fell on my mouth', very funny. The Runaways from Leiden just had one 45 and this amazing psychedelic recording with a real major psychedelic guitarbreak 'Listen to the birds'. The D-5 Group actually is the Drifting Five with their last recording, sadly a rather normal Bob Dylan cover. This is allover in NM to MINT state and might never pop up again! !
