   For sale is Dusty Springfield's You Don't Have To Say You Love Me, originally released in 1966 by Philips Records, a division of Mercury Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "MR" followed by the matrix numbers M-1/M-1, indicating that the first stamper was used to make this first edition, then pressed at Mercury Record Manufacturing Company's plant at Richmond, Indiana. These are all hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this used and immediately put this album, like all my records, into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as VG+ because of some corner blunts, ring wear and a dent on the jacket's lower right hand corner. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as VG because of sleeve marks and surface scratches. I'm play grading it between G+ and VG because of pops and ticking, along with surface noise, more noticeable in the quiet sections of playback, but not overpowering the music. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
