Description

Up for auction is the Japanese pressing of Duran Duran's album Notorious (CAT # EMS-91202).   The vinyl record has been visually inspected under a strong light source and has been judged as being in mint condition.  The record sleeve is in VG+ to NM condition.  The obi is in NM to M condition.  Included with the record is a 4 page lyric / info insert (VG+ to NM - very minor foxing blotch near the center crease), as well as a 20" x 28" poster (VG+ some light small scattered foxing blotches on the reverse of the poster) and sheet of 4 stickers (mint condition)!  See pictures for reference.
You're probably wondering what "foxing" is.  Foxing is an age-related process of deterioration that causes spots and browning on old paper documents such as books, postage stamps, old paper money and certificates. The name may derive from the fox-like reddish-brown color of the stains, caused by the rust chemical ferric oxide which may be involved. Paper so affected is said to be "foxed".
